Practice Focus:

Mr. Abdel Hameed joined Al Markaz in June 2010 and is a Senior Associate in the firm's Litigation Department. He holds more than 20 years of PQE between Egypt and Kuwait and emphasizes his professional practice in general and commercial litigation which mainly involve matters of international trade law, administrative law, corporate law, civil law, alternative dispute resolution, taxation and labor law. Additionally, Mr. Abdel Hameed has vast experience litigating compensation cases, and has built a strong reputation handling cases of alternative dispute resolution and cases before the Constitutional Courts.

Representative Legal Matters:

  • Acted as counsel in a taxation claim for the Investment Dar Co., opposing the payment of taxation imposed by the Ministry of Finance.
  • Acted as counsel in a personal injury compensation claim with an award of KWD 60,000.
  • Acted as counsel for a leading investment company in Kuwait in an arbitration claim, which awarded the client the amount of KWD 102,000.
