Al-Markaz Litigation team successfully set a precedent in the case brought by our client, a major transportation company, against the Ministry of Interior before the Administrative Court. The claimant had filed an application to the Ministry of Interior to operate domestic vehicles, which the latter rejected. The court found in favour of our client and held the Ministry of Interior’s rejection of the application to be unlawful. It was contended by our litigation team that the rejection of the application was based on a Ministerial Directive that went beyond the scope intended by the Cabinet. Al Markaz successfully challenged this rejection, which led to the cancellation of the rejection and the awarding of compensation to our client.
