Practice Focus:
Miss Altamiranda is an Associate in the firm´s Corporate Advisory Department. She joined Al Markaz in January 2013. Miss Altamiranda emphasizes her practice in civil, corporate and commercial legal consultancy, handling matters that involve the application of civil law, corporate law, and international trade law. She has significant experience in companies’ establishment, local and cross-border corporate matters, merger and acquisitions, securities transactions, Kuwait Stock Exchange, intellectual property, and general consultancy. Prior to joining Al Markaz, she worked in both the public and private sector in Argentina.
Representative Legal Matters:
- Assisted a number of foreign embassies/companies regarding the different aspects of establishing their national business in Kuwait including but not limited to taxation, licenses, agency, civil & commercial procedures, tendering and employment law.
- Assisted and negotiated on behalf of a well-known Kuwaiti medical company in regards to their import medical supplies, under exclusivity terms.
- Acted in collaboration with law firms abroad, on behalf of a Kuwaiti investment company aiming to recover their investment from a major real estate project with an organizational structure involving different jurisdictions.
- Advised a Spanish insurance company on the most optimal structure suitable, in accordance with their business objectives including providing multiple forms of insurance to households and corporations, on entering the Kuwaiti market.

- Professional Attorney at Law degree, with an academic minor in Political and Social Studies from the National Law and Social Science University of Tucuman, Argentina.
