Mr. Shamma joined Al Markaz in June 2015, he is a Senior Associate in the firm's Litigation Department. He has over 30 years of experience in the legal profession between Egypt and Kuwait. His professional field is concentrated in criminal and commercial litigations, commercial law, corporate law, civil law, alternative dispute resolution, labor law and negotiation & arbitration.
Representative Legal Matters:
- Acted as counsel for the Al Markaz’s clients in criminal litigations and obtained final rulings in client’s favor.
- Participated in drafting motions in relation to the construction filed, precisely the litigations relating to the Kuwait Building House Co and Kuwait Resources House Co. He successfully acquired verdicts in client’s favor.
- He worked in compensation litigation and successfully obtained many verdicts in favor of Al Markaz’s clients.
- He worked in matters related to capital market and successfully acquired many judgments in favor of Al Markaz’s clients.
- Worked in matters related to facility agreements in the banking sector and obtained the judgments in the client’s favor.
- He worked on investment contracts relating to a major Real Estate Companies and obtained many rulings in its favor.
